On television, Jo is known for standout performances in acclaimed productions including Hard Truths (directed by Mike Leigh), Fleabag, Back to Life, Missing You (Harlan Coben), and Dreaming Whilst Black. Her stage work is equally distinguished, with credits spanning the Royal Shakespeare Company (two seasons), the National Theatre, the Royal Court, Shakespeare’s Globe, and the West End.
