Who are you and what's this about?

We're artists. A group of actresses from all over the industry, and one eccentric author who happens to be a fan of all of them. We've been working together for the better part of two years now, and are ready to share our project with the world!

What is True Indie Voice Art?

A collective. In the past, one would have called it a studio - but since we have our own studios at home, there's no physical place involved. It's us, our equipment, and the arts!

What are you creating here?

Audio dramas! Starring many of your favourite performers and some of the biggest video game actors in the world. No charge, no product placements, no hidden fees. If you like what you hear, feel free to chip in, subscribe and/or send us a “Thank You” tip so we can keep up our work!

Where can I listen to your stories?

Right here on our website! You'll find all of our releases here, catalogued and unabridged. Enjoy!

Free audio dramas? Isn't your material copyrighted?

It is... but the audio production is paid for by the community. You are free to share our audio plays, assuming certain conditions are met. Specifically, you must maintain the credits, as well as a link to our Patreon.

Can I use AI to crawl your material, and make my own derivations?

No. Absolutely not.
Our audio is randomly laced with inaudible poison pills. It won't disrupt the listening experience - it will, however, render it useless to an AI. Legal action will be taken against anyone stealing our artists’ work.

How rigid is your "no AI" stance?

We believe in and want to champion human creativity, so we actively work to protect it. Our “no AI” stance applies to any kind of AI that generates human imitation art. Yes, we do use AI tools once in a while, for example to get some audio editing tips or to help with translations from other languages. But we have never and will never use AI to churn out our art. Every bit of voice acting, every line of dialogue, every piece of artwork on the website are all human-made. They always have been and they always will be.

Which genres do you cover?

We have two ongoing series. SPARKS OF HOPE, which is science fiction, and PAX ROMANA, which is historical fiction. There may be more in the future.

Why are you doing this?

To prove that it's possible. In a time of large platforms, monopolies and AI, making a living as an artist has become tougher than ever. We're taking a stand and making a statement against corporate greed and generative AI, and hope to inspire more artists to follow our example!

Why are all the performers women?

Why not?
Seriously, this initially happened by coincidence, and we decided to run with it. At a later time, we might add men to the cast. Everyone is welcome here.

How often will there be releases?

The plan is to average out at 1 release per month. Some months will have multiple releases, e.g. multiple chapters of a larger story. Others will be used for recording and editing.

Can I get the stories in print?

Sure! You can buy a physical book online, or at any bookstore. Not all stories will be available immediately, but we're working on it!
