Alice Kamande

Alice is a renowned multi award winning gospel artist and song writer, born and raised in Nairobi Kenya.

Alice always loved singing from a very tender age, she discovered her musical talent at the age of 13 years, when she started writing her own composed songs. At the age of 17 she recorded her first studio song, which never got released.

In 2009, she began her professional musical journey, releasing her debut song WEWE PEKEE which quickly gained popularity, setting her amongst well recognized voices in gospel music in Kenya, East Africa and beyond.

Her music brings hope, encourages and builds faith to the listeners.
Over the years since she began her career in music, she has been nominated and won various musical awards.

Apart from her musical career she is also an entrepreneur in fashion and design, she designs and creates African contemporary apparels and leather bags.

Social impact

Alice is a founder of Dare Dream programme that seeks to mentor girls and support in education for the less fortunate, and is committed to community work.
Her mantra is always to ‘live on purpose’.
